Introducing Shepetivka Vocational Lyceum
Shepetivka Vocational Lyceum was established pursuant to Order No. 266 of the State Committee for Vocational and Technical Education of the Ukrainian SSR, dated September 7, 1979. It was founded on the basis of the Shepetivka branch of the “Komunist” Production Association of the USSR Ministry of Radio Industry as Shepetivka Technical School No. 10. In 1984, it was renamed Vocational School No. 20 of Shepetivka.
By the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 377 dated June 13, 2003, “On the Improvement of the Network of Vocational Education Institutions in Khmelnytskyi Region,” starting from July 1, 2003, Vocational School No. 20 was reorganized into Shepetiv Vocational Lyceum.
Shepetivka Vocational Lyceum is a state educational institution of the second (basic) level of vocational (vocational-technical) education that ensures citizens’ right to acquire vocational qualifications and specialized secondary education.
The Lyceum provides training on the basis of basic and complete secondary education, and is also focused on:
- Adult learners
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs)
- Individuals with special educational needs
The Lyceum offers:
- Initial vocational training leading to the qualification level of “skilled worker” for secondary school graduates (basic or specialized)
- General secondary education
- Vocational (vocational-technical) training, retraining, and upskilling
- Short-term courses for acquiring partial vocational qualifications for employed workers, adults, and unemployed individuals
Since 2018, a Training and Practical Center for the profession “Electrician for the Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment” has been operating at the lyceum.

- Seamstress / Sewing Machine Operator (Швачка) — Code: 8153
- Tailor (Кравець) — Code: 7531
- Plasterer (Штукатур) — Code: 7123
- Tiler (Лицювальник-плиточник) — Code: 7122
- Electrician for the Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment (Електромонтер з ремонту та обслуговування електроустаткування) — Code: 7412
- Hairdresser (Hairdresser-Stylist) (Перукар (перукар-модельєр)) — Code: 5141

Mission
To develop healthy, self-sufficient individuals capable of leadership in professional and civic life through modern educational technologies, effective partnerships, and an innovative learning environment.
The educational process aligns with students’ aspirations, interests, and abilities, using creative approaches, modern teaching methods, and elements of research in line with societal, scientific, economic, and cultural trends in Ukraine and globally.
Currently, the Lyceum educates about 350 students. The institution provides a full-fledged educational environment and comfortable living conditions, including:
- Classrooms for general and theoretical vocational education
- Modern vocational training workshops
- LOFT-style recreational areas created by students and teachers
- A sports ground with modern exercise equipment
- A renovated dormitory (new roof, windows, showers, laundry room, kitchen, fire alarm)
- Two shelters for over 450 people, equipped with ventilation, bathrooms, food and water supplies, generator, and Wi-Fi
- Library, educational and friendly spaces for youth, and a dedicated safety education room
- A dining hall
Staffing and Leadership
A qualified team of 62 employees: experienced teachers, vocational training masters, and technical specialists. The Lyceum is headed by Alla Chernushyсh, a competent and proactive leader focused on innovation, infrastructure modernization, career counseling development, and international cooperation.

- NGO “Svit u Barvakh”
- Red Cross Society of Ukraine
The institution successfully implements grant projects supported by UNDP, GIZ, UNICEF, and Terre des hommes – Ukraine.
In addition to youth training, Shepetivka Vocational Lyceum develops adult education and career development, holds the status of an institution providing career counseling, and is working on establishing veteran development centers for training and retraining military personnel.
